We had seen this site on our way into Townsville & decided it was a lovely rest spot - Free camping!
On the way , there was a big Semi trailer coming toward us and within in 20 metres of us passing..... a Kangaroo shot across the road 🙉🙊 both drivers had applied breaks but not severely & by now the stupid roo has forgotten all about it & all of us just 'kept going'. Today's good story
Life in the 'fast' lane is hard work.....
There is a rail line away across the other side of the Flinders Highway & there has just been a long load of copper go through. Wonderful resources of our great land.
